Open Position
Development Intern

The Development Intern will gain non-profit management experience by supporting HOPE + FUTURE staff with fundraising efforts, fundraising strategy, and donor management. The Development Intern will work directly with the Executive Director and Country Director. We are asking for a minimum of 15 hours per week, and are flexible on what days and times.  The internship can start as early as December and will run through May, with possible extensions. The internship is unpaid.

Major Responsibilities

Manage donor database;

Conduct research on potential donors and strategic partners;

Draft correspondence, reports, proposals, and donor appeals;

Assist with mailings, filing, and special projects as needed; and

Send thank yous, receipts, and other notes to donors.

Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to the vision of HOPE + FUTURE;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Good organizational skills, self-motivated, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle several tasks while meeting deadlines; and

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and/ or databases.

Administrative Intern

The Administrative Intern will gain non-profit management experience by supporting HOPE + FUTURE staff with office communications, data entry, organization of materials, and a variety of emerging office tasks. The Administrative Intern will work directly with the Executive Director and Country Director. We are asking for a minimum of 15 hours per week, and are flexible on what days and times.  The internship can start as early as December and will run through May, with possible extensions. The internship is unpaid.

Major Responsibilities

Manage systems for recording and tracking correspondence through website;

Field volunteer, internship, and employment inquiry emails;

Develop and design administrative materials and organize existing materials;

Help manage online databases and create systems for shared online resources; and

 Provide support for planning and scheduling staff and board meetings and trainings.
